My professional career began in the healthcare field, where for over seven years I worked analyzing public health statistical data (epidemiological) and coordinating improvement processes. Along that path, I understood something fundamental: behind every data point lies a story, a pattern, and an opportunity to make better decisions.
That curiosity for understanding data led me to dive deeper into the world of data science, predictive analysis, and machine learning. Today, I combine my background in public health with advanced analytical tools to transform complex data into actionable insights.
Currently, I focus on developing artificial intelligence and data analysis solutions. One of these projects focuses on biodiversity, where I built an automated recognition system to individually identify jaguars based on their unique coat patterns.
Through PantheraLab, I aim to connect intuition with evidence, helping organizations and projects uncover the hidden value in their data and turn it into strategic decisions. My goal is to apply data science and artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and generate impact through information analysis.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy constantly learning, exploring new technological tools, and connecting with nature. That curiosity for understanding complex systems—whether in data or ecosystems—is also what inspires many of my projects.
Specialties of the house
From healthcare to data science
I am a nurse with a Master’s degree in Gynecology, Obstetrics, and Perinatology. For over ten years, I worked in the healthcare sector, spending the last seven years building indicators, identifying outbreaks, and executing containment actions. I learned that data is not just numbers; they are signals that anticipate problems and guide timely interventions.
That experience taught me how to read contexts, work under pressure, and translate evidence into decisions with real impact. Today, I apply that same logic—backed by data science and artificial intelligence tools—to any field that requires analytical rigor and practical solutions.
I am open to collaborating on projects in healthcare, conservation, technology, or any industry where data can make a difference.
From my experience with biodiversity
Driven by a commitment to environmental and wildlife conservation, PantheraID was born: a machine learning statistical model that recognizes individual jaguars based on their unique coat patterns.
